Islands Ultimate Dogbone Pipe Guards Curbing Manholes Light & Sign Pole Bases Car Stops E-mail Formex Home	Light and Sign Pole Bases The "Standard" For Light and Sign Pole Applications in Areas of High Volume Traffic When it comes to protecting light and sign poles in heavy traffic areas, Formex has the answers. Attractive and easy to install, Formex Bases require low maintenance and are surprisingly affordable. Choose from three types of bases; round, tapered or square. Each are made with heavy gauge, commercial quality hot rolled steel which prevents cracking and chipping of concrete. Round and square bases have rolled top edges to prevent tire damage. Installation and maintenance is quick and easy thanks to a Formex patented design that includes a template for anchor bolts. Approved by most fast food, convenience store and service station chains, Formex Bases can be painted to match company colors. Bases are available in gray sentrx primed steel, stainless steel or modern powder coated finishes. SPECIFICATIONS: All bases are made with heavy 12 gauge prime commercial quality hot rolled steel. Round and square designs' top edges include a rub-rail bead which is 1-7/8" high by 15/16" deep. Templates with standard 8" and 11 " bolt circles are available. Centers are left open for electrical conduits. Carbon steel bases are painted with one coat of Gray Sentrx Primer. Stainless steel bases are Type 304 steel with a Number 3 polish.
